FTA Executive Committee
Dr Olivia Antos Khan, FTA President
Hello everyone! It's a pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Olivia, and I'm a mother, wife, human, and Orthopedic Surgeon—in that order! My life revolves around my family. I have three wonderful children: my eldest, Liana, is in Year One at Island Primary, and she has twin brothers, Zain and Malik. I'm married to Nabil, and fun fact: together, we make up two-thirds of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department at Doctor’s Hospital.
As a mother, my energy is centred on making sure my children are safe, healthy, and thriving in their school environment, while also instilling strong values. Schools are more than just academic institutions; it's a primary environment for holistic growth where children are given the confidence and tools to reach their own dreams and goals while understanding their role in making a positive impact on their surrounding community and beyond.
Professionally, I absolutely love my job and the satisfaction I get from helping others and being empathetic. It is so rewarding touching lives and making a difference every single day.
As your FTA President for the 2025-2026 academic year, my focus is on bringing our Island Primary families together, building strong community relationships, and simply being a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on. I aim to spread this wonderful IP spirit throughout our community! I truly believe that even the smallest smile can change someone's day.
I'm incredibly excited to see what this year has in store for all our IP families! I'm looking forward to meeting you all and building on our school's core values: courage, kindness, and commitment!

He is excited to bring his expertise and commitment to supporting education and community involvement to the Family Teachers Association. With a strong background in healthcare and a proven record of community engagement, Dr. Bouliane is an asset to the FTA team.
Pedro Braz, FTA Treasurer
As a proud parent and active member of the IP community, I’m excited to serve on the FTA board this year. My spouse and I have been happily married for 14 years, and we have two amazing children, Helena and Lucas. I’m originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil but lived in the US for many years. Growing up, sports were a big part of my life and I played soccer and practiced Jiu-Jitsu but now when I’m not at work, I love to spend time outside playing with the kids or at the beach.
Over the years, I’ve volunteered in various capacities, primarily in local churches but felt compelled to also support IP by leveraging my professional background in finance serving as FTA Treasurer. I believe that education is the cornerstone of a thriving community and being part of the FTA allows me to contribute directly to our children’s growth and well-being.
Laura Leontsinis, FTA Secretary
I’m Laura, a proud mom of two daughters, Remi-Rose and Indiana who is in Reception. I'm excited to be a part of the FTA as I believe in the importance of developing strong and positive relationships between home and school and that families are the first educators - the more I can be involved, the more I can encourage my daughter and her friends and the newest members of the IP community to get involved. As a newer school, we have an exciting opportunity to build the foundation for a supportive community for families and students which will help set our children up for a successful and joyful school journey. I grew up loving school and hope to ignite the same love of learning in my girls and their classmates. I’m also passionate about community service and am proud of the ways Island Primary supports various programmes, teaching our children gratitude and service from a young age which will help them grow to be empathetic leaders and active community members. I’m here to help!
Ross Kelly, FTA Council Member
Hi, I'm Ross, Dad to Zoe, who is currently loving life at Island Primary in 1P! Originally from Dublin, Ireland, I have lived in Cayman for the past 11 years and currently work at Sunrise Adult Training Centre, where I also sit as a Committee Member on our Sunrise Caring Association (our FTA equivalent). I am delighted to have the opportunity to be part of this great FTA at Island Primary. Having seen the great work already done since the school opened, I am looking forward to being involved in continuing to grow the partnerships between the school, the families and the wider community. I have fantastic memories of my own school days and I want to make sure that this generation have the same action packed, fun filled experiences that I remember fondly!
In my free time I can be found either on the golf course or at F45, working up a sweat! I love to keep active and highlights of the week usually include some tennis or swimming with my daughter Zoe. I look forward to working with my fellow FTA members to be able to deliver the best experiences and opportunities to all IP families over the coming years.
Amber Primrose, FTA Council Member
Originally from West Coast Canada, Amber is an active Mother of three busy boys, two of which attend Island Primary! She has been in Cayman for nearly a decade now and loves all the things this island has to offer. When she’s not watching the boys at football, baseball or rugby you can catch her on the tennis court, hot yoga, a HIIT class or the Farmer’s Market.
Amber has a background in finance but her true passion is healthy cooking. She can whip up a nutritious dish in minutes and enjoys trying new recipes and getting her family and friends involved in healthy eating and nutrition. A natural multi-tasker, Amber brings a wealth of knowledge to Island Primary and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty! She is looking forward to getting creative and bringing her can-do attitude to the PTA!
Kate Molitor, FTA Teacher Representative
Kate’s love for teaching and education are rooted deep in a family of educators. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois where she taught for 8 years before fleeing from the cold and wind, to the sunny Caribbean in 2017.
Teaching is a true passion of Kate’s and she is motivated daily by the inquisitive, cheerful nature of young learners. She finds joy in igniting curiosity and critical thinking, and believes the classroom is a space for exploration, questioning, and problem solving.
Outside of teaching, Kate loves to keep active and give back to the greater community through charitable endurance events. You’ll probably see her running or cycling along South Sound Road or recharging on the beach with a good book.
